How to Connect Your Facebook Business Page and Instagram
To have your Assistantz.ai chat assistant answer Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs, connect your Facebook Business Page and a professional (not personal) Instagram account to your GoHighLevel sub-account first, from Settings > Integrations. This is a GoHighLevel-side connection Assistantz.ai's chat deployment depends on.
Before your assistant can answer messages on Facebook Messenger or Instagram DM, GoHighLevel needs its own connection to your Facebook Business Page and a professional Instagram account — this is a GoHighLevel account-level setting, done once per sub-account.
Before you start
You’ll need admin access to the Facebook Business Page, and an Instagram account converted to a Professional (business or creator) account — a personal Instagram account can’t be connected.
Steps
- In your GoHighLevel sub-account, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Connect your Facebook Business Page through the Facebook/Meta connection flow, logging in with an account that has admin rights on the page.
- Connect your Instagram Professional account the same way — it must already be linked to the Facebook Business Page in Meta’s own settings, which is a Meta requirement independent of GoHighLevel.
- Confirm both show as connected in GoHighLevel before deploying your chat assistant to these channels.
