How to Set Up a Custom Menu Link in GoHighLevel
In GoHighLevel's agency settings, create a custom menu link, paste your Assistantz.ai dashboard URL, set it to open in an iframe, and enable it for the sub-account sidebar only. This lets your team manage Assistantz.ai assistants from inside GoHighLevel instead of switching to a separate tab.
This adds Assistantz.ai as a menu item inside each GoHighLevel sub-account, so your team clicks into it without leaving GHL.
Steps
- Log in to the Assistantz.ai admin dashboard and copy the custom menu link it provides.
- Log in to app.gohighlevel.com.
- Allow automatic client invite, so a sub-account is created in GoHighLevel automatically when required.
- Create the custom menu link: in GoHighLevel settings, go to custom menu links, create a new one, choose an icon and give it a title, paste the Assistantz.ai link, and set it to open in an iframe.
- Set visibility: remove it from the agency sidebar, leave it on for the sub-account sidebar, and choose which accounts and roles can see it. Save.
After setup
The link appears in the sub-account section. Clicking it opens the Assistantz.ai workspace for that sub-account without a separate login or tab, so managing assistants stays inside the GHL interface your team already uses.
