Fix: No Active CRM Connection Error on Sub-Account
If a sub-account shows a red 'No Active CRM Connection' indicator, click Connect Accounts and check if the status changes to Connected. If it doesn't, use Connect to GHL > Direct Connection, pick the sub-account in the marketplace, and follow the prompts — a green chain link icon confirms the connection succeeded.
This error means Assistantz.ai and the GoHighLevel sub-account aren’t talking to each other — nothing about assistants, calendars or tools will work until it’s resolved.
Steps
- Identify the issue. Look for the red indicator flagging “No Active CRM Connection” on the sub-account.
- Locate the sub-account in your Assistantz.ai dashboard.
- Attempt the initial connection. Click Connect Accounts and check whether the status updates to Connected and the warning ribbon disappears.
- Use the direct connection method if the first attempt fails. Go to Connect to GHL > Direct Connection. This redirects you to the marketplace — choose the specific sub-account and follow the prompts to connect it.
- Verify the connection. Check the sub-account again — the red indicator should be gone, replaced with a green chain link icon.
Cautionary notes
Make sure you’re connected to the internet before attempting to reconnect. Double-check you have the correct sub-account selected — reconnecting the wrong one causes its own headaches. If the connection still fails after multiple attempts, escalate to Assistantz.ai support on WhatsApp.
