GoHighLevel Voice AI Per-Minute Rate in 2026, and What the Same Call Costs on Assistantz.ai

GoHighLevel's native Voice AI is billed pay-per-use at roughly 13¢ per minute at the agency level, or bundled in the $97 per month per sub-account AI Employee plan. Assistantz.ai charges from 9¢ per minute all-in for voice — orchestration, your choice of voice, your choice of language model and telephony — with rebilling built in so you set the client's rate.
The two ways GoHighLevel bills Voice AI
GoHighLevel offers Voice AI in two shapes. Pay-per-use is metered per minute at the agency level, with the headline rate around 13¢ per minute; the exact figure moves with the voice provider chosen, from roughly 6¢ with the cheapest text-to-speech to over 20¢ with premium voices. The alternative is the AI Employee bundle at $97 per month per sub-account, which removes the meter under a fair-use ceiling and also includes Conversation AI, Reviews AI and Content AI.
Conversation AI (the text side) is billed separately at about 4¢ per AI response on pay-per-use, before the underlying SMS carrier cost.
What Assistantz.ai charges for the same call
Assistantz.ai bills one all-in rate for voice, built from four parts:
- Orchestration: 5¢ per minute, running the call, the tools, the calendar booking and the CRM updates.
- Voice: from 2¢ per minute, depending which of the house or third-party voices you pick, up to 10¢ for the top-tier voice.
- Language model: from 2¢ per minute, up to 5¢ for the top-tier model.
- Telephony: $0 on your own SIP trunk, or 1.5¢ per minute on platform telephony.
That is from 9¢ a minute all-in with your own trunk, or from 10.5¢ on platform telephony — nothing else is billed separately, and bringing your own key does not change that rate. Text messages are 2¢ each, model included, or free when you connect your own OpenAI or other LLM key.
Worked example: one client, 600 minutes a month
| Item | GoHighLevel pay-per-use | GoHighLevel AI Employee | Assistantz.ai, all-in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Voice cost | about $78 (13¢/min) | $97 flat | $54 (9¢/min, own SIP trunk) |
| Agency cost | about $78 | $97 | $54 |
| Client price at $199/mo | margin about $121 | margin $102 | margin $145 |
On platform telephony instead of your own trunk, 600 minutes is $63 (10.5¢/min), for a margin of $136. What does not change with the plan you pick: the more minutes a client uses, the further the 9¢ all-in rate pulls ahead of a 13¢ metered rate, and the more clients you have, the more the $97 per sub-account flat fee adds up against a plan that covers three, ten or unlimited sub-accounts for one price.
Where the platform subscription fits
Assistantz.ai plans are $197, $397 and $697 per month for 3, 10 and unlimited sub-accounts, each with unlimited assistants. At ten clients the Growth plan is $39.70 per client per month before usage, against $97 per client on AI Employee. At thirty clients the Enterprise plan is $23.23 per client.
What is not in the price comparison
Two things GoHighLevel’s rate card does not show are time and rebilling. Native Voice AI expects you to write and maintain each client’s prompt; Assistantz.ai writes it from the client’s website and lets you edit. Native rebilling runs through SaaS mode on the Agency Pro plan; Assistantz.ai tracks minutes, messages and numbers per client and lets you mark them up on any GHL plan.
Frequently asked
Is 9¢ really the total? Yes, on your own SIP trunk. It is the whole Assistantz.ai charge — orchestration, voice, model and telephony — with nothing billed separately by another provider.
Does bringing my own SIP trunk matter? It is what drops telephony to $0 and the all-in rate from 10.5¢ to 9¢. You can also bring your own Twilio number for calling; the platform still bills the same all-in rate.
Does the 14-day trial include minutes? The trial gives full platform access; usage draws down from the wallet you top up.
